Foster & Animal Care
Provide temporary care, help with day-to-day animal needs, or support rescued animals while they wait for their next step.
Adoption Events
Help with event setup, animal care, visitor questions and the practical work that helps adopters meet rescued animals.
Transport & Special Projects
Assist with local transport, rescue logistics or special travel support when an animal needs help getting safely from one place to another.
Photography & Video
Create clear, compelling photos and videos that help rescued animals be seen, understood and adopted.
Social Media & Outreach
Help share adoption stories, rescue updates, events and educational information with the wider community.
Website & Professional Skills
Contribute writing, editing, design, website support, fundraising, research or other professional skills that strengthen AWF’s work.

You Do Not Need to Do Everything
Volunteer work can look very different from person to person. Some opportunities are occasional, some are project-based, and some require more regular involvement.
